INGREDIENTS:

  1. Oil
  2. Peeled 10-12 garlic cloves
  3. Prawns 250grams( cleaned prawns)
  4. Mustard
  5. 2 onion
  6. 4 tomatoes
  7. Pinch of turmeric powder
  8. 2 tablespoon of chilly powder
  9. Salt to the taste
  10. 1/2 cup of water
  11. Curry leaves
  12. Coriander leaves

METHOD:

Heat oil in a pan, once mustard crackle, add peeled garlic cloves, just saute them and now add finely chopped onions, saute them well till it turns golden brown.

Add finely chopped pulp tomatoes, saute it till the raw smell disappears, add curry leaves and following it add the cleaned prawns.

Now saute the prawn only with onions & tomatoes. Add salt as per your requirement, after few minutes add pinch of turmeric powder and chilly powder, saute it well you can see oil separates from gravy.

Now add very little amount of water so that prawns get cooked well.( Gravy has to be thick)

Once prawn turns pink or curled, garnish with coriander leaves and serve them hot with white rice.
