• Seer fish steaks boiled – 250gms
  • Roasted gram flour – 4 tsp
  • Onion – 1 chopped
  • Green chilies – 2 chopped
  • Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste -1tsp
  • Lemon – 1/2 juice
  • Corn flour – 5-6 tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste


  1. Boil and mash the seer fish steaks
  2. To the boiled seer fish add Roasted gram flour, onion, green chilies, red chilly powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste and coriander leaves
  3. To the mixture, add lemon juice and salt and give it a nice mix
  4. In a bowl dilute the corn flour with water
  5. Shape up the patties and roll them over the bread crumbs and then corn flour. Again roll them over the bread crumbs. Make all the patties like wise and keep it ready for frying
  6. Shallow fry the patties on both the sides till crisp
  7. Serve hot with sauce and green chutney
